CCSA's fall BBQ took place on Saturday and a good time was had by all.
The weather was mild (by Avenal standards), the thermals were adequate for the task and Darrell's tacos & flan were superb.
We had a number of students from CalPoly out to check out the operation - many got some time in the air with Ollie.
Peter and Morgan stretched their autumn legs in their ships - here's Morgan's flight and Peter's flight.
Richard, Darrell & Kevin all had respectable 1-26 flights. 1 to 3 knot thermals is where that ship shows off its best!
Several members flew in, and there were several carpool groups.
Finally, several former members who have rejoined CCSA were out renewing old acquaintances and making new ones.
